Limpio Designs

LIMPIO DESIGNS has always been about creating free / cheap artwork for those living in low income neighborhoods and non profits that work within concentrated areas of poverty or distress. Over the years that idea has transformed itself into creating artwork that celebrates the voices and identities of all walks of life on this earth. I have painted free murals for animal shelters, street ministry groups, homeless shelters, a  youth refugee school in Chiang Mai, a school for pregnant teens in Chicago, art for auction donated to CAASE (Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation,)  renewed signs for mom and pop stores, and pieces for the exterior and interior of residential homes in slums, and middle class neighborhoods.

Personally I feel painting free or low budget artwork has created some of the most memorable relationships and life experiences that I have ever had.

Poverty is not an accident. Like slavery and apartheid, it is man-made and can be removed by the actions of human beings.
